This trail is part of the Florida Trailwalker Program. This is a linear that trail runs alongside the Withlacoochee River and is heavily forested. The land is very flat, which makes it an easy trail, except for the long distance.
From Lake Lindsay Rd. in Nobleton, go 1 mile E to Hog Island Recreation Area sign. Turn S on to CR 635 and go 2 miles. Kiosk and parking area is on the right before the campground and day use area. From I75 take exit 62, turn W (right) on to CR 476-B . When road ends at "T", turn W (left), go 4 miles on CR 476 to Hog Island Recreation Area sign. Turn S (left) on CR 635 and go 2 miles to entrance of Hog Island Recreation Area. Kiosk and parking area is on the right before the campground and day use area.
